At the Academy, we wore service caps with a big circle brim (shown below). A tradition is to place a picture on the inside. I had drawn an Eagle (because I love em) and wore him in there for my first 6 months. However, going home for Christmas while waiting for a bus, a little boy saw it and really wanted it. I couldn't say no and had to make this one over the break. The first one was just ball point pen - no color. What's not shown is a little cartoon duck I had on the bill itself (yes, duck on a bill). After Britta died, I cut it out of the last birthday card she sent me and put it on the bill.
