My cousin, Julie, primarily works in pottery while her husband, Daryl, favors drawing. Two more samples of Daryl's work have been added as we slowly build this gallery. More should soon follow. The Wills duo truly capture what Musket Media is all about - the diversity of several different media. Julie's primary work is in pottery while Daryl favors drawing. They currently reside in Nebraska. Unfortunately, I only have a small sample of their craft, but more should soon follow.

Clay Pot
Julie's talent in the world of clay has truly evolved and I hope to soon show more. I hope she doesn't mind my title for this piece but I like how she incorporated what looks like continents on this "body" of water.

Pencil / Charcoal
As this picture shows, Daryl can manipulate the lead to reveal incredible detail.
Obviously a baseball fan.
the Doctor (b&w)

Pencil / Charcoal
Here is another sports figure - the amazing Dr J. Again, Daryl captures impressive detail and brings his paper to life. This technique, stippling (sometimes called "dot drawing") is challenging. With a close look you'll notice straight or continuous lines aren't used. These drawings often turn into messy blobs, but Daryl obviously is skilled in the method.

Digital Color
This is the same drawing but colorized with the help of a computer. Digital graphics and imaging software have come a long way. With some talent, great pictures like this can be created without a single drop of pigment.
