I took some more pics of Paris and wanted to post a picture of a fantastic present I received. It was getting sad, I only had about 10 days left in Paris.
Above is a panoramic from Passerelle de Solférino just west of the Musée d'Orsay which you can see on the right. On the left and further away is one of the towers of the Louvre. The bridge is a footbridge and known for the hundreds of "Love Locks" on its sides.
I found this little tour (which was broken) near the real Eiffel tower so I had to get them both in the same shot. The iPhone takes pretty good pics, but I just couldn't get the crisp focus on the little guy. I still like the pic, but I kinda a perfectionist when it comes to certain pics.
This is an awesome present! Hand made and given to me by the father of one of my Dutch classmates. It's a clock made from part of the turbine from a Rolls Royce helicopter engine! How cool is that? And such a nice gesture from him. I really couldn't say thank you enough.
Sky pics are never the same as actually being there, but I love the lights on Pont Alexandre III and this sky was amazing - if you'd been there.
