Arizona Sunset

I wanted to practice some plein air painting so I took what little supplies I had and hit the road. It's a sunset sketch as it was the desert and no one needs to be out in that heat mid-day. So as you can see, my open air work definitely needs some practice. I don't think I captured enough contrast - which is a trend of mine. Maybe I shouldn't wait so long between attempts.
