Israel

Was lucky enough to visit Israel including Jerusalem, the Dead Sea (amazing), Tel Aviv and Masada. It was impressive and at the same time, certain things were surreal - such as above-ground graves and the division of Jerusalem. Awesome trip.

Above-ground graves - something you don't see everyday but very magnetic
[L] This is the "center of the universe" although it moves [R] Jerusalem skyscape
[L] David's Tower or citadel [R] Local lady checking out the Americans
[L] "Guards" sitting down [R] Jerusalem landscape - probably hasn't change much
[L] the Wailing Wall [R] Masada at night
The visit to Masada was pretty ironic actually. We had arrived from Italy (Romans, if you will) and it was a no-kidding reddish, full-moon night. It was a great show and a once-in-a-lifetime event.
