Un bateau-mouche is a pleasure boat and they're all over la Seine. One of the biggest spots to get on these boats is on the north side of Pont de l'Alma. An instructor in DLI regularly told us we need to take a bateau-mouche and I finally did the day before Bastille Day. The company we used is the same name as its location, Bateaux-Mouches Pont de l'Alma. Here is their route.
There's nothing special about this pic, but I always like seeing Pont Alexandre III
A couple shots of Notre Dame
As our tour ended, we did a nice drive by of the Tour Eiffel. There's a million pictures of the tower but there wasn't a cloud in the sky so I added two more to the masses.
On the left, the Bateaux-Mouches sign and the silver T-Rex! Right, my ticket.
After our boat ride, we were walking back towards Champ de Mars when I snapped a pic of this road sign. It's normally just an panneau interdit (on the right) but Clet Abraham is known for modifying signs throughout Paris. If you search images for Clet Abraham, you'll see the variety. Some of them are pretty cool.
