This was the third painting to use the three canvases I ordered for Combat Christmas (2016's Christmas card). I had taken a picture about 2.5 years ago (shown below) while watching Adult Swim. I thought it would make a cool painting someday. Good thing they look nothing alike as it can hardly be called a copy. In the end, I love the sky, water, trees and light on the trees. I am not happy with the building (maybe 10% happy). I should have 'let go' (my problem) and played more with the perspective as in the photo. Always happier when I let go.
