I visited the Hampton History Museum and the cemetery of St John's Episcopal Church right across the street. You never know what to expect at a history museum, but I like to give them a chance. Hampton's has some good info and artifacts, but I would say it would help if you're really a history buff. I checked out the cemetery because you never know what you'll see for headstone designs, dates, and the surroundings. This was a well kept cemetery.
This was my favorite part of the museum ... Blackbeard's head on a pole. I thought it was an simple and bold model, but I also didn't know Blackbeard's his real name or that there is a Blackbeard's Point (someone else's take and a pic of the plaque).

Like I said, this was a well-kept cemetery...almost immaculate. The church was a nice building, too.
There was a nice row of snowball bushes/trees so I took a couple panoramic shots.
