Airpower Park

I visited Hampton's Airpower Park. The static displays (jets and missiles) are in rough shape. The building is full of models and some other paraphernalia. The admission is free so it was worth the visit.

Just one of dozens of models...they are well crafted.

The building was the coolest part to me. Rather surreal landscape from this angle.

Another shot with more sky.

Like I said, these jets were in rough shape. The F-105 and F-101 were probably in the best condition. There was some good tail art and I like stars so I took this shot of the F-86L tail past the nose of a test model Harrier. Put a little black and white to it. The nose of the T-33A was too blatant to pass up. Not the fiercest front end of a fighter but it served it's purpose.
