Purple Flower

Some more practice in the floral world. My sis-in-law always had bouquets in the house so “models” were abundant. I don’t know what flower this is, but I was rather pleased with the result. The background is my favorite part. You might notice the paper has much more texture – it’s made for watercolor. The effects it gives are much more dramatic than something like printer paper - on which many of my pieces start.
