Paper Cups and acrylic, 2016

The dining facility where we ate used paper cups and it was hard for me to throw them away. They found a great re-purpose when I painted Combat Christmas. They obviously hold water, but they open up into pretty good little palettes. With their coating, the paint doesn't soak through and doesn't dry as quickly. And when the paint does dry, it's easier to throw a paper cup away as opposed to cleaning it off something.
