Team Meds

This was painted as a potential entry for a call for art called "Arts Uprise". Works were to "speak to this moment in our country". It also let me practice humans. As you can see in the gif below, I originally painted a manufactured word, "Wejaro" (combined names of weight-loss drugs), but I'm not a big fan of painting text (as of now). Wejaro with an image of a rather unhappy person was to show the discontinuity of drugs. I painted over a "Rules of the Game" wall art, and thought the 'Teamwork' slightly remaining was a good touch (and it wasn't my hand-painted text). Removing Wejaro kept it more ambiguous since any drug can have adverse effects. Teamwork and Team Meds reflects the 'benefits' of being on pharma's team. It will be submitted with Fast Food, Mans Cloud and Segregation.
\Team Meds is a box frame about 1.5 inches deep.
The original wall art I repurposed and a gif showing progress - covering about 17 days.
I think I like the earlier face (second frame) better but I like the neutral gender look.
