This was a late add to the group for "Dreamscapes" call-for-art with Cordillera and Suture. Laundry was also a contender but I thought the fish was more surreal. Fish are also fun to paint. The title comes from Ecclesiastes 9. While the fish is eating, it was painted over an "Eat, drink and give thanks" wall art board. I could have also called it "Corinthian". It was invited to the exhibit, but didn't sell.
There is no frame currently holding Ecclesia as it is a museum wrap. I think the grey works.
This was the original wall art.
