In March, we took a field trip to Les Invalides. It's quite a predominant building (with a dome) in the heart of Paris. And it actually houses the Musée de l'Armée (which was the main purpose of our visit), and the tomb of the overly-hailed Napoleon I. It's worth a visit, for sure.
I could have taken dozens of pictures (I thought I'd taken more) as the building is quite impressive. But the view on the left (above) apparently caught my attention. On the right is Napoleon's tomb. Seriously? It's pretty massive. I guess just like his massive affect on the world.
I really like the dome. It's gold colored so when the sun strikes it, it's pretty impressive. I took this picture as we departed for the day.
