Walkaround - le Marais : 2013-04

We took a field trip during our language course to le Marais. Le Marais is a historic district in Paris, France. Long the aristocratic district of Paris, it hosts many outstanding buildings of historic and architectural importance. Most pics were of my classmates briefing but here are a couple of pics...

The front of Saint-Paul-Saint-Louis. I know there are lots of churches in Paris, but I liked the red door, and it was one of the places my classmates briefed.

Here's my appetizer - which was awesome! It was avocado puree and sadly an entrée du jour (sadly because you can't get it regularly). Since my phone was still new, I wasn't really in the habit of getting names associated with pictures (restaurants, bars, artists, etc.) but I think it was the Little Cafe. It was little so the name of the café is perfect, and it seemed to be a problem ordering in a large group, but that stuff is quickly forgotten when the food and company are good. It was a good day.
