This is just one of countless buildings in Paris developed during the Haussmann renovation of Paris. This plan affected many buildings but the reality is you never really get tired of seeing them. I think the best place for individuality is in the roof designs on the corners. The one shown below is actually pretty simple, but there are several different types, and even with simplicity there is individuality.
Personally, I love the Haussmann style of the buildings. I'm constantly amazed with the amount of work each building must have required. The building above is across from my apartment so I am reminded daily of the huge undertaking of Haussmann.
