There are a few Statues of Liberty in France and I feel a little obligated to see them. Today, I visited the statue on the Île aux Cygnes near (or under) the Pont de Grenelle. This statue is 1/4 the size of the statue in New York. I didn't think it was necessarily special but I changed my mind when I found out she's 124 years old. That's pretty cool.
Near the Statue of Liberty, is the Parc André Citroën. Yes, it is the namesake of the automobile manufacturer. It's nothing amazing but it's a nice green space with nice trees and the fountain shown above.
