I just flew a Piper Arrow III (PA-28R-200) with the chief instructor at Rick Aviation. I've flown Pipers (and like them), but haven't flow the Arrow III with retractable gear. Because it has flaps (not unusual), retractable gear, and a controllable prop, it's considered complex. One thing I like about the Arrow (and other Piper aircraft) is the hand lever to control flaps. You move them directly to the setting you want...there is no travel time for a motor. It was a great flight, with cloud shade, and a beautiful sunset.
