This was invited to the Lincoln Gallery for the 2026 National Fine Art Show.
When you saw this clump of bushes you knew you were getting close to the grandparent's farmhouse.
I repurposed a canvas for this painting - another autumn scene from a painting event. Originally, I stayed with the original theme.
After I threw in the bushes and clouds, I wanted to focus more on the hill, bushes and sky. Hence the disappearance of the large tree.
Picked up this frame well before I painted the picture, but it was a great fit.
