A local gallery is having an event - a call for art - and the theme is "A Love of Sports". I haven't made any sports paintings and, since I always need practice with those pesky humans, I thought I'd paint this for a submission. It's a non-juried event so it'll be a chance to get some publicity. I need to paint a lot more humans. The frame is made from Nebraska farm wood. I like making frames so I don't make them until a painting is finished. It's like a reward for finishing.
