I had a repurpose painting which already had mountains in it. I think it was by Lindsey. I wanted to practice some mountains and skies (always) so I just ran with the general idea. I was even going to include the tree in the foreground, but a starker landscape. I was going to fill in the sky to get rid of that darker spots, but kind of liked the ruddiness.

but the actual painting was over three or four days.
