This was painted to potentially go to a men's choir group. This was a very frustrating image. You can see by the gif below that I completely changed the concept. I was kind of in floral mode from previous paintings an I thought that could convey a group of similar, but different members. I liked it early on (about the 4th frame in the gif) but then it got too crowded and then it was going downhill fast. I liked the scrubbed out background and sky so I made the members birds instead. I think the flight of a bird better reflects the dynamics of a voice anyway. And I like it better than the overly busy flowers.
A gif of some stage shots. I'm glad I took pictures since it's so different. About 11 days.
