I finally lead a painting group. I was a bit nervous, but once people start painting, they kind of do their own thing. It became obvious that the most important thing (in my opinion) is giving people a subject. If you give a group of people some canvases and say "let's paint", they might get writer's block. Give them a subject and it kicks off pretty well. I did a couple practice runs, Sunflower Study and Sunflower Study 02 and used the same sketch. We had limited time which was a challenge and the canvas was smaller than expected, but it turned out pretty well.
