Ladybugs are pretty cool machines.

This was the fourth installment for an art call (Miniature and Massive) stipulating that paintings could be no larger than 25 square inches. It was submitted along with Purple Rew, Giant Goliath and Wild White. Similar to Wild White, this uses a wooden mat - to fit the frame and remain within the size requirements. The ladybug was destined for another frame we had kind of prepositioned for the smaller paintings. It's a plastic frame but has a unique texture. I think it worked well. Why the ladybug? Well, like I said, they're pretty amazing machines, and who doesn't like a ladybug?
